Recently I've been getting into Hiroshi Sugimoto's poignant, beautiful seascapes. I find them intriguing and evocative.





I have created some grey washes inspired by these photographs that I hope to use as backgrounds for my drawings:

My 'Howl' project is almost done - it just needs some tidying up. So here are a few personal pieces and sketches from my sketchbook that I have been doing in the meantime. I'm thinking of maybe starting a new mini project inspired by my dissertation which was about human mortality.
